Palestinian Woman killed, several injured in ‏ Israeli attacks in Gaza and West Bank

Occupied Jerusalem, Sept. 12 (SANA)Israeli occupation forcesandsettlersescalated their assaults inGazaand theWest Bank, killing a Palestinian woman and injuring several others, while detaining eight Palestinians during widespread raids.

According to the Palestinian News Agency WAFA, a pregnant woman died of wounds inflicted by occupation gunfire south of Khan Younis. Four others were injured when Israeli warplanes targeted a tent near Shahid Rest House in the Al-Mawasi area west of the city.

Occupation naval units opened fire off Gaza’s port, while artillery and armored vehicles unleashed heavy bombardment east of Deir al-Balah in central Gaza.

In the West Bank, occupation forces stormed multiple towns and refugee camps. Six Palestinians were arrested in Marka village south of Jenin, including two brothers, while two more brothers were detained in Tammun south of Tubas. An elderly man and a child sustained injuries during the raids.

Further incursions targeted Jabal al-Tawil in Al-Bireh, Al-Amari and Qaddura camps south of Ramallah, several towns in Bethlehem Governorate, Qalandiya camp, and Kafr Aqab north of occupied Jerusalem.

Settler violence also intensified, with gunfire injuring a Palestinian in Faqqu’a village east of Jenin. Other settlers attacked Burqa village east of Ramallah, stoning Palestinian homes and vehicles.

In occupied Jerusalem, Israeli authorities forced a Palestinian to demolish five establishments and shops in the Wadi al-Joz industrial zone under threat of exorbitant fines.

On Friday, the occupation forces bombed the al-Mawasi area in Khan Younis, killing one Palestinian and injuring nine others, while arresting two Palestinians from Tulkarm in the northwestern West Bank.
