Joined David Neo and Goh Hanyan to officially open the new Outward Bound Singapore (OBS) campus at Coney Island. We first conceived this project many years ago, when I was still at MCCY. So it was especially meaningful to see it finally come to fruition. For decades, OBS has challenged young Singaporeans to step out of their comfort zones, discover what they are capable of, and build grit and resilience. With the new campus, we can extend the OBS experience to all Secondary 3 students, with further opportunities for them to return at the tertiary level. Our hope is for OBS to become a shared rite of passage for every young Singaporean.
