Joined a meeting with the representatives of the Sri Lanka Scout Association today (10) afternoon at the President's Office. The 11th National Scout Jamboree to be held in January 2027 as well as the progress of its organizational activities were discussed here. The official unveiling of the official logo of the National Scout Jamboree also took place in this meeting. There was also an exchange of views on the programs and future plans being implemented by the Sri Lanka Scout Association, and I also pointed out the need to expand the Scout movement to more schools and the importance of the Scout movement contributing to the government's anti-drug programs. I met the representatives of the Sri Lankan Scout Movement at the President's office this afternoon (10). The 11th National Scout Jamboree to be held in January 2027 and the progress of its arrangements were discussed. The official emblem of the National Scout Jamboree was also released during the meeting. The current projects and future plans of the Sri Lankan Scout Movement were examined, and I highlighted the need to expand the Scout Movement activities to more schools and the importance of the Scout Movement's contribution to the anti-drug activities being carried out by the government. I met with representatives of the Sri Lanka Scout Association at the Presidential Secretariat this afternoon (10). The meeting included discussions on the 11th National Scout Jamboree, scheduled to be held in January 2027, as well as the progress of its organizational arrangements. The official logo of the National Scout Jamboree was also unveiled at the meeting. We also exchanged views on the programs currently being implemented by the Sri Lanka Scout Association and its future plans. I highlighted the need to expand the Scout Movement to more schools and stressed the importance of its contribution to the Government's programs to combat the illicit drug menace.

ශ්රී ලංකා බාලදක්ෂ සංගමයේ නියෝජිතයින් සමග හමුවකට අද (10) පස්වරුවේ ජනාධිපති කාර්යාලයේදී එක්වීමි. 2027 වසරේ ජනවාරි මස පැවැත්වීමට නියමිත 11වන ජාතික බාලදක්ෂ ජම්බෝරිය පිළිබඳව මෙන්ම එහි සංවිධාන කටයුතුවල ප්රගතිය පිළිබඳව මෙහිදී සාකච්ඡා කෙරිණි. ජාතික බාලදක්ෂ ජම්බෝරියේ නිල ලාංඡනය නිල වශයෙන් එළිදැක්වීමද මෙම හමුවේදී සිදුවිය. ශ්රී ලංකා බාලදක්ෂ සංගමය විසින් මේ වන විට ක්රියාත්මක කරනු ලබන වැඩසටහන් සහ ඉදිරි සැලසුම් පිළිබඳවද අදහස් හුවමාරු කෙරුණු අතර, බාලදක්ෂ ව්යාපාරය පාසල් වැඩි ප්රමාණයක් වෙත ව්යාප්ත කිරීමේ අවශ්යතාව සහ රජය ගෙන යන විෂ මත්ද්රව්ය විරෝධී වැඩසටහන්වලට බාලදක්ෂ ව්යාපාරයේ දායකත්වය ලබා දීමේ වැදගත්කමද එහිදී පෙන්වා දුන්නෙමි. இலங்கை சாரணர் இயக்க பிரதிநிதிகளை இன்று (10) பிற்பகல் ஜனாதிபதி அலுவலகத்தில் சந்தித்தேன். 2027ஆம் ஆண்டு ஜனவரி மாதம் நடைபெறவுள்ள 11ஆவது தேசிய சாரணர் ஜம்போரி தொடர்பிலும், அதன் ஏற்பாட்டுப் பணிகளின் முன்னேற்றம் குறித்தும் இதன்போது கலந்துரையாடப்பட்டது. தேசிய சாரணர் ஜம்போரியின் உத்தியோகபூர்வ சின்னம் வெளியீடும் இச்சந்திப்பின் போது இடம்பெற்றது. இலங்கை சாரணர் இயக்கத்தினால் தற்போது நடைமுறைப்படுத்தப்பட்டு வரும் திட்டங்கள் மற்றும் எதிர்காலத் திட்டங்கள் குறித்தும் ஆராயப்பட்டதோடு, சாரணர் இயக்க செயற்பாடுகளை அதிகளவிலான பாடசாலைகளுக்கு விரிவுபடுத்த வேண்டியதன் அவசியத்தையும், அரசாங்கம் முன்னெடுத்து வரும் போதைப்பொருள் ஒழிப்பு நடவடிக்கைகளுக்கு சாரணர் இயக்கத்தின் பங்களிப்பை வழங்க வேண்டியதன் முக்கியத்துவத்தையும் இதன்போது எடுத்துரைத்தேன்.
