Joined a meeting with a group of Hindu religious leaders today (10) in the morning at the President's Office. In the past two years, the government's program to establish harmony, peace and harmony among all the people, without allowing any racial conflict in the country, and the program implemented to eradicate the scourge of toxic drugs that is destroying the future generations of the country, were blessed by the Hindu priests. Special attention was paid to the preparation of a formal mechanism by which all the Hindu priests scattered in different parts of the island can work together, and the problems faced by the Hindus, including the running of Hindu Dhamma schools, and the possible solutions were also discussed. I met a group of Hindu priests this morning (10) at the President's office. The Hindu clerics gave their blessings to the program of the President-led government to ensure coexistence, peace and harmony among all people, and to eliminate the drug scourge that is causing the future generation of the country to fall, and to ensure that there is no room for any racial conflict in the country. In particular, attention was paid here to the creation of a proper mechanism by which all Hindu priests living in different parts of the country can work together during such national needs, and the problems faced by Hindu devotees, including the running of Hindu moral schools, and the solutions that can be obtained were discussed here in detail. I met with a group of Hindu religious leaders at the Presidential Secretariat this morning (10). During the meeting, the Hindu priests expressed their blessings for the government's program over the past two years to ensure coexistence, peace and reconciliation among all communities, without allowing any ethnic conflict to arise in the country. They also expressed their blessings for the program being implemented to eradicate the illicit drug menace that is destroying the country's future generations. Particular attention was also given to establishing a formal mechanism through which all Hindu priests living in different parts of the country could work together, especially in addressing matters of national importance. The meeting also included extensive discussions on the issues faced by Hindu devotees, including the operation of Hindu religious schools and possible solutions to these challenges.
