As part of the Kingdom of Bahrain's presidency of the 46th session of the Gulf Cooperation Council, Ms. Sara Ahmed Buhijji, CEO of the Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority, chaired the preparatory meeting for the undersecretaries responsible for tourism, in preparation for the 10th meeting of the Tourism Ministers Committee of the GCC countries, which was held via video conferencing. The meeting discussed a number of topics included on the agenda. It addressed the joint Gulf effort to enhance the tourism sector in the GCC countries. And followed up on the implementation of initiatives and programs related to the sector support plan. Including joint tourism promotion and media initiatives. And the development of a Gulf tourism dashboard . The meeting also examined joint promotional programs and marketing campaigns. And the exchange of expertise and knowledge in the field of tourism statistics and data. And the unified tourism guide license in the GCC countries.
