The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed the Kingdom of Bahrain’s strong condemnation and denunciation of the continued illicit Iranian attacks using several ballistic missiles against the brotherly Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, in flagrant violation of international law, the UN Charter, and Security Council Resolution 2817. It is a serious threat to regional security and stability. The Ministry affirmed the Kingdom of Bahrain’s full solidarity with the brotherly Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and its complete support for all measures it takes to preserve its sovereignty, security, stability, and the safety of its citizens and residents. It commended the vigilance of the Jordanian Armed Forces 'air defense system, which succeeded in intercepting the missiles and countering these illicit attacks. It also renewed its call for the UN Security Council to assume its responsibilities and take firm measures to compel Iran to cease its aggressive actions against countries in the region , in a way that contributes to de-escalation, reducing tensions, and maintaining regional peace and security .
