The Minister of Industry and Commerce is also here at Kemsa, which also marks an important event on National Industry Day in our country. And well, the President is entering right now, the Chief of the President's Civil Cabinet is also arriving. The President is entering at this very moment. We are going to wait as well. We are the President is currently inside. Yes, the greeting as well with those in charge of this factory. Maquila program number seven, if I'm not mistaken, one of the first to use the program. To the right is the warehouse of They are going to one of the warehouses , the President of the Republic, I reiterate, accompanied by the Minister of Industry and Commerce, Marco Riquelme, Vice Minister Alberto Borovski is there, and one of the '94 jerseys. 33 1933. One of the historic jerseys that we are observing at this moment. It is also an industry that has for a long time we are talking about Kemsa and well, this work with apparel, outfitting important national teams like Paraguay, Costa Rica, among many others. The President is moving now, on this tour in the framework of National Industry Day. which is commemorated every September 8th. We are going to listen to what the President of the Republic mentions. It controls the operation, the warehouse, and the offices a lot. They have two focuses, everything related to sourcing and everything related to retail operations. In the middle of the chain, distribution and that part, there isn't the same level of control that there is here in the sourcing part . And here you will find, later showing the identification of the blocks, occupational safety, you will even see the chairs that the tailors use The president of the UIP, Enrique Duarte, also arrives. things, those are the things they control in that process, so that not only is a quality product produced, but also Well, they are also mentioning the processes to the President that are carried out at the site. Enrique Duarte , also president of the UIP, is currently accompanying the authorities in highlighting the contribution of industry to economic growth. and above all, the generation of employment that occurs with these perspectives, looking at the gross domestic product and an important percentage of industry in that impact. It is the third one that has not been launched yet. Uh, this is the fabric warehouse. It is received from the back by the forklift. The fabric, before unrolling it to let it rest, is inspected on this, on this piece of equipment, right? Dark fabrics are processed with a slow print, light fabrics with a slightly faster print. These are all the non-fabric trimmings here. and we greet an old crest and there was a '98 crest because the shield has another shield Well, we are also observing the transformation of raw materials into products with greater added value, which are inputs that are historically likely and suddenly making this type of product we re-engineer it is a range of products as well that you we are inside the factory who will speak next. same. And here are all the samples they make here. They have the strikes. Strikes, they have all the strikes. What are strikes? They are the types, the fabric cuts with the number of linear meters available of each one. So, in fabric combinations there are hundreds, look at the amount of fabric there is, right ? And there is always the client who tells you, "Don't you have this one, don't you have that other one." Because there is x weight per square meter, uh, x composition, 100%cotton, 98%cotton, 95%cotton, 90%cotton with different types of combinations and there are infinite infinite types of fabrics, right? Some always tell me, "This one is better, this other one is better." that in many cases it's just a matter of the use given to it it's a matter of use. We specialize here in sublimated polyester. Specialization in sublimated polyester is what they mention to the president. Peñarol with the Colonos, Independiente, the Uruguayan national team that was, I was lagging behind, uh Peñarol, Independiente, Colo Colo, the Uruguayan national team. We also made Independiente and then we moved on to Independiente Medellín, uh Santa Fe, Cali, uh Nacional de Medellín. We started doing a lot for Panama and very little for the south because Argentina hindered our exports. The last Independiente export was left stuck here because they didn't come to pick up the bags and today how Argentina is and today they are looking more towards here, right? Now look, now we are receiving next week they talk about important clubs that are also part of Kensa Sisa regarding apparel production. Well, they talk about an evolution in domestic demand and also what I mentioned regarding international demand, when we are already inside the production factory 300,000 is a red item now that he taught me how to cut. The president is currently touring the Gensa Sisa facilities, getting to know up close the different stages that are part of the production process. and and during look, one year we started selling 15,000 units, the collection 20,000 it was the pandemic we closed contracts there will be Alfaro Alfaro and he started winning games Then we went on to sell in the year 2025 like 120,000 jerseys. 120,000 jerseys sold for the Paraguayan national team from the Gustavo Alfaro era that one out of four that is sold. Yes, the rest counterfeit. We are But they jumped from 8,000 to 300,000 to 300 and we still haven't found the ceiling, right? Because this year we continue But yes. Uh, one out of four around there, there are two types, right? We have that well identified in that sense, right? Two types of counterfeit products. One good, imported and another national. And another national. imported and that is the The president is currently making contact with the workers and learning about the operation of the equipment and the different areas in this site, in this place that make the production of sports apparel possible. Yes, but you know that there everywhere in everywhere. direct contact with the industry that allows showing the human face of the professionals here at Kensa , Sisa and well, the numbers also relevant to the production of apparel for the Paraguayan national soccer team , as mentioned also from the time of Gustavo Alfaro onwards. where there was a very important boom regarding the production of said authorized apparel and the same way. SPA Commission and we are in block C to block six. Well, in this way, colleagues, with this, with the numbers that were given to the President of the Republic and the production of apparel, a very important boom regarding the production for the Paraguayan National Team is what has to do with Gustavo Alfaro onwards; and also these 29,771 manufacturing companies registered in the DIRE, according to the latest data recorded by the DINE. And this visit by the President of the Republic, in the framework of the national industry that is commemorated every September 8th, the President and the authorities are currently visiting the Kensa Sisa facilities in the city of Luque. Back to you where is that little paper where the clocks are. It was going to be the official photo. From Kensa Sisa and they mentioned a significant amount of apparel delivered in the time of Gustavo Alfaro to the Paraguayan National Soccer Team, in an important boom as far as the work in apparel goes and. At this moment we observe the Paraguayan National Team jersey, some balls also in this site, which is an open space where the president of the UIP is, the president of the Republic is; we see the chief of staff, Javier Jiménez, already with the ball in his hands. There are several, the Vice Minister is also here, Alberto Esborovski, along with various authorities, in a contact that allows us to show the human face of production , the workers, technicians, professionals, and entrepreneurs who contribute to the country's growth from the private sector. On a date like today, the message is clear. Industrializing means generating value, creating job opportunities, and advancing toward an economy with greater production and export capacity. Number of manufacturing companies registered with the DINAT, according to the latest data published by the INE, 29,700. 71 companies, and the manufacturing industry represents about 19%of the GDP, some 9,446. million dollars. The President of the Republic is departing now with the authorities. The President is leaving, as well as the Chief of Staff and the communications team from the Presidency of the Republic. The authorities are withdrawing now, as is Vice Minister Alberto and the President of the UIP. And well, that concludes the President's visit here to the company Kemsa CISA. Extremely striking and important numbers regarding the production of apparel. We see jerseys of Sol de América, Rubio Ñu, Guaraní , jerseys signed by Sportivo Luqueño, Olimpia's, if I'm not mistaken, that's the 2012 one, signed by Paredes, the one by Minio Miranda, one of the iconic jerseys of Paraguayan football, it's the most important in national football . We are talking about Olimpia. Now the President of the Republic is indeed departing. We see the General Caballero jersey, I believe it's the one from Juan León Mallorquín, and one of the Athens 2004 jerseys, the silver medal from that tournament we lost to Argentina. We continue waiting in this place, at this site. Let's see if any authority speaks, let's see if the Minister of Industry and Commerce speaks. Yes, Minister Javier Giménez is going to speak. Let's see if it will be in this spot at a press area. Well, let's go up. The outside. He is, uh. about the industry and the visit to Kemsa CISA, which is a factory in the city of Luque. Minister, what can you tell us about this visit by the Ministry of Industry, being here at Kemsa CISA? We are here at Kemsa, in the city of Luque, a company since '95, right, Andrés? '88. '88, 880 employees, and Kemsa is a special industry for the country at this moment because they have the privilege of being the ones who manufacture the Albirroja. Andrés and his family were telling us that, historically, when Paraguay didn't participate in the World Cup, they sold an average of 8,000 jerseys a year, and in the year of the World Cup, they sold 350,000 jerseys. So, that is just an indicator of how shopping and sales are driven by passion; and when there is a national industry with the capacity to supply something that is so much our own, something that brings us so much pride, like participating in the World Cup, that really stimulates the economy . And well, it wasn't just Kemsa that was able to take advantage of that in the jersey manufacturing business, but other businesses around the country as well. There too It is interesting, Ministers, what is happening in the country. You were always talking about and highlighting the arrival of industry, but what is important is to continue with the support because they are making history , right? With the jobs and the source of labor in the country. Of course, yes. Paraguay is living through a privileged moment in terms of industry. We have grown 26%in industrial manufacturing from one year to the next, and that means that the whole world is seeing Paraguay as a country that produces with quality and also produces with competitiveness. We are not only growing at a regional level, we are also growing at a global level. The market opening and all that effort that was made in previous years. Today, both Paraguayan industrialists and foreign industrialists who are providing labor in Paraguay are taking advantage of that and, through that, developing our country in industrial matters. And it brings a series of activities also within the framework of what is the month of industry. Well, today we are going to launch something that is very interesting for everyone to know, and it is also very interesting for companies like Kemsa, because there was no land-use planning back in '88 when they started here, and today this place is no longer convenient for them. Inconvenient. Why? Because it is not an industrial zone; this is an area where we often see commerce, often see residences, and the value per square meter in this area where they have their factory would perhaps be better utilized through another type of venture. So, what we are launching today for industrialists like Kemsa, and industrialists like anyone else who wants to come from abroad to set up a factory here, is a digital tool in which we will have a heat map of the different types of industries that exist in Paraguay. So, an industrialist coming from Brazil will be able to enter this map, select the textile industry filter, and there will be a heat map of the entire country showing where textile industries are located in Paraguay. This will mean that in those places where there are textile industries, the capabilities are also there, because if there are textile industries, there is a workforce that has already passed through those factories. They will also be able to choose districts that have a land-use planning scheme, and in that sense, the map will help identify how much power is available at the substation nearest to that district, how many training and educational institutions are nearby, what the access routes are, the size of the economically active population, and the gender breakdown. So, what previously required visiting various institutions to gather information on where to set up an industry. Today, we will be able to provide all of that on a digital map that will be accessible to everyone for free, a tool that the Ministry of Industry and Commerce will launch. Do you also have a schedule to visit other industries? What will your agenda be like during the month of industry? Well, today is National Industry Day. We are kicking off Industry Day with a visit here to Kema, as I mentioned, an industry that provides more than 680 jobs and. The President will also be there next week for the 90th anniversary of the Paraguayan Industrial Union, a dinner that, for the first time, will be held outside the UIP headquarters; it will be in a larger venue due to the number of people the UIP president and the board of directors are inviting. And at that time, the President will launch three very important historical initiatives for the industrial sector in the country. We invite you to be part of that event as well so that you can hear firsthand about the tools we are going to make available to industrialists during this industry month. In these three years of administration, by what percentage has industry grown in the country? Well, today, industry generates 350,000 jobs. We are growing in double digits, close to 20%growth. This represents 5.7%growth from one year to the next in industrial matters. Paraguay has more than 37,000 industries, the majority of which are MSMEs. Two-thirds of the industry in Paraguay are MSMEs. And that is also why we are placing a special focus on MSMEs in the country, with tools primarily related to formalization. We had spoken in earlier stages that the greatest scourge for the small industrialist in this country is usury. So, through technology, deregulation, and the consolidation of a financial environment with the financial sector itself, we are developing tools to combat usury with financial products that are accessible to MSMEs in Paraguay. Investments were mentioned, but regarding long-term electricity rates for investment projects in our country, the Chief of Staff himself said that our country does not have them in the medium to long term. Those are the growing pains of industrial development that we have as Paraguay. Previously, we received medium and small investments in Paraguay. The average investment in maquila is 2.5 million dollars. Nowadays, investments of 500 million dollars and 1 billion dollars are knocking on our country's doors. Investments that require different rules of the game, require more predictability, require things like dollar-denominated rates, and require securing long-term rate pricing; otherwise, these projects are not bankable. To move that kind of capital, they need the kind of predictability that perhaps a 2, 3, or 10 million dollar industry does not need. So, we are working on institutional strengthening. The president has formed the electricity board within the country's energy council, and that is why we are talking today with the most important players in the electricity sector to make the best decisions, to generate predictability, and above all, to ensure that the process is transparent. the words of here. Andrés is the entrepreneur currently heading KEMSA, and I would like you to also be able to direct any questions to the company. Actually, before that, I would like to thank the Ministry of Industry and Commerce team, the UIP, and the presidency for coming to visit us, for honoring us with their visit on National Industry Day. It is a source of pride for us, it is a source of pride for the entire team, and it is a moment that we should celebrate every year with the same enthusiasm we did today. As you correctly said, this year was a challenging year, a year of hard work, a year in which we broke records and grew as much as we could in this location. This location, which has been developing over 40 years of history. As second generation, I must say, you sound incredibly eloquent. I feel you are part of the private sector within the public sector today. Uh, so thank you very much for this initiative, and I hope the Paraguayan industry continues to develop as it has been doing. We also heard about an international impact in terms of exports. We are currently exporting 5 to 10%of our production capacity. The local market has been developing, and this year, obviously with the demand we had for red due to sports results—the minister said it well—sports results in our industry dictate the level of demand for our products, all types of sports products. Our specialty is sublimated polyester. Sublimated polyester is what is used for soccer jerseys, for the most part. In that sense, it was a challenging year, but it was a year that defined the local market. We definitely have opportunities. The Paraguayan industry now has the necessary conditions to continue growing beyond the national factors that are proving favorable in terms of the international situation. The East is becoming increasingly difficult in terms of payments, shipments, and MOQs, or minimum quantities required for orders. Uh, in the past, one could receive the product in Paraguay and pay the supplier only at that moment. Those conditions have changed over time. Uh, the river, the exchange rate. There are many factors today that give Paraguay a different potential, and it is up to each entrepreneur to take the challenge to bet and continue growing in those investment sizes the minister mentioned . Uh, and to keep receiving—I believe that will make our industry continue to industrialize, and even if it becomes more competitive, it will only get better. Nowadays, how many direct employees does the company have? Today we have 600 direct employees. Here at the factory, there are 280. Uh, the rest are in stores. In addition to operating in the textile industry, we have 51 stores throughout the national territory, uh, featuring international licenses and local brand store chains like Sporthouse. President,
