Inefi entrega utilería deportiva y reacondiciona canchas en 30 centros educativos del GSD y San Cristóbal
Santo Domingo.-The National Institute of Physical Education (Inefi) held this Tuesday a simultaneous day of delivery of sports equipment and reconditioning of courts in 30 educational centers in Greater Santo Domingo and San Cristóbal, with the aim of continuing to strengthen physical education and school sports at the national level.
The main operation was led by the executive director of Inefi, Alberto Rodríguez Mella, from the Max Henríquez Ureña Polytechnic, in Los Alcarrizos, where he shared with students, teachers and local athletes. Rodríguez Mella highlighted the enthusiasm of the educational community and announced that the institution will replicate these days in other provinces of the country.
"School sports and physical education are fundamental for comprehensive training. It is not just about delivering props, but about creating the conditions for our children and young people to practice sports, develop discipline, strengthen their values and discover talents that proudly represent the Dominican Republic," he emphasized.
The day took place in parallel at three strategic venues:
Los Alcarrizos: Headed by Alberto Rodríguez Mella from the Max Henríquez Ureña Polytechnic.
Santo Domingo Norte: Coordinated by the deputy director of Inefi, Elvys Duarte, from the Miguel Ángel Pérez Sierra School. It impacted schools in Educational Districts 10-01, 10-02, 10-04, 10-05 and 10-07, such as the Vicente Vargas Arts Center, Liceo República de Taiwan II, Nilda Celeste Nova School, María Marcis Comprés de Vargas Polytechnic, El Valiente Primary School, Don Pedro Mir Lyceum of Arts, Juana Taveras Liriano School and Mother Laura Polytechnic.
San Cristóbal: Directed by the Chief of Staff, Cristián Hernández, at the Professor Pablo Barinas Primary School. The delivery covered facilities such as the Ismael Lorenzo Lyceum, the Professor Matilde Cuevas School, the Julio César de Jesús Asencio Arts Education Center, the Nuestra Señora de la Altagracia Polytechnic, the Dulce Consuelo Zorrilla Center, the Professor Napoleón Casilla Díaz Polytechnic and the Professor Zaida Dipré Guzmán Primary School.
With this intervention, Inefi reaffirms its commitment to equipping school communities with the necessary tools and infrastructure for the comprehensive sports development of Dominican youth.

Impactó a planteles de los Distritos Educativos 10-01, 10-02, 10-04, 10-05 y 10-07, como el Centro en Artes Vicente Vargas, Liceo República de Taiwán II, Escuela Nilda Celeste Nova, Politécnico María Marcis Comprés de Vargas, Escuela Primaria El Valiente, Liceo en Artes Don Pedro Mir, Escuela Juana Taveras Liriano y Politécnico Madre Laura. San Cristóbal: Dirigido por el director de Gabinete,Cristián Hernández, en laEscuela Primaria Profesor Pablo Barinas. La entrega abarcó instalaciones como el Liceo Ismael Lorenzo, Escuela Profesora Matilde Cuevas, Centro Educativo en Artes Julio César de Jesús Asencio, Politécnico Nuestra Señora de la Altagracia, Centro Dulce Consuelo Zorrilla, Politécnico Profesor Napoleón Casilla Díaz y la Escuela Primaria Profesora Zaida Dipré Guzmán. Con esta intervención, el Inefi reafirma su compromiso deequipar a las comunidades escolarescon las herramientas e infraestructura necesarias parael desarrollo deportivo integralde la juventud dominicana.
