Harry and Meghan remain non-working royals, Palace says
London, Sept. 8 (SANA)Prince Harry and Meghan will remain non-working members of the British Royal Family following their return to the United Kingdom, according to a letter sent on behalf of King Charles.
The letter said the Duke and Duchess of Sussex remain private citizens and cannot use the titles “His Royal Highness” and “Her Royal Highness.” Any engagements they undertake will be in a private capacity and will not represent the Royal Family.
The arrangements agreed upon when the couple stepped down from royal duties in 2020 remain in effect, ruling out a role that combines commercial activities with official royal duties.
Harry and Meghan returned fromCaliforniawith their children last month and are expected to support charitable organizations inBritain. Questions concerning their security remain unresolved and will be handled by the relevant police authorities.
