El Salvador presente en toma de posesión de Colombia
Vice President Félix Ulloa participated, on behalf of President Nayib Bukele, in the Inauguration Ceremony of Mr. Abelardo de la Espriella as Constitutional President of the Republic of Colombia, held in the city of Cali.
Prior to the formal ceremony, the Salvadoran Vice President spoke with President Mr. Abelardo de la Espriella, to whom he sent an affectionate greeting from President Bukele and expressed his best wishes as he assumes this new responsibility at the head of the Colombian nation.
During the solemn ceremony, the Presidential Band was imposed on the new Head of State, by the President of Congress, Mr. Honorio Henríquez; officially marking the beginning of his constitutional mandate. Immediately afterwards, Mr. José Manuel Restrepo was sworn in as Vice President of Colombia.
The ceremony included a prayer and reflection that accompanied the beginning of this new stage of government. In his speech, the President of Espriella made important announcements on economic matters, health, the fight against corruption, public service and security.
The participation of Vice President Ulloa in this historic event reaffirms the ties of friendship and cooperation between El Salvador and Colombia, as well as the will to continue strengthening a bilateral agenda aimed at the development and well-being of both peoples.

El Vicepresidente Félix Ulloa, participó, en representación del Presidente Nayib Bukele, en la Ceremonia de Posesión del Sr. Abelardo de la Espriella como Presidente Constitucional de la República de Colombia, celebrada en la ciudad de Cali. Previo al acto protocolario, el Vicemandatario salvadoreño, dialogó con el Presidente Sr. Abelardo de la Espriella, a quien envió un afectuoso saludo de parte del Presidente Bukele y expresó sus mejores deseos al asumir esta nueva responsabilidad al frente de la nación colombiana. Durante el acto solemne, se realizó la imposición de la Banda Presidencial al nuevo Jefe de Estado, por parte del Presidente del Congreso, Sr. Honorio Henríquez; marcando oficialmente el inicio de su mandato constitucional. Acto seguido, tomó juramento al Sr. José Manuel Restrepo como Vicepresidente de Colombia. La ceremonia, incluyó una oración y reflexión que acompañaron el inicio de esta nueva etapa de gobierno. En su intervención, el Presidente de la Espriella, hizo importantes anuncios en materia económica, salud, lucha contra la corrupción, el servicio público y la seguridad. La participación del Vicepresidente Ulloa en este histórico acto reafirma los lazos de amistad y cooperación entre El Salvador y Colombia, así como la voluntad de continuar fortaleciendo una agenda bilateral orientada al desarrollo y bienestar de ambos pueblos.
