Stipendium Hungaricum is a scholarship program by the Hungarian government designed for international students. It covers tuition fees, a monthly stipend, housing (either dormitory accommodation or a housing allowance), and medical insurance. The program covers all these expenses for the entire duration of the study period.
At the meeting, participants discussed key focus areas for training highly qualified specialists for Uzbekistan’s economy, along with key issues related to the educational process. Scholarship recipients received recommendations on how to organize their studies.
Since the 2019/2020 academic year, 533 individuals have been awarded this scholarship.
In the 2026/2027 academic year, 110 Uzbekistan citizens had the opportunity to study at Hungarian universities, with plans to raise the annual scholarship quota to 200 slots.
