Damascus, Aug. 19 (SANA)Syrian Foreign MinisterAsaad Hassan al-Shaibaniand Jordanian Foreign MinisterAyman al-Safadidiscussed bilateral coordination and regional developments in a phone call, Syria’s foreign ministry said.

The ministry said the two ministers discussed the latest developments concerning theHigher Coordination Councilbetween Syria and Jordan and recent regional developments.

Safadi condemned Israeli violations in thePalestinian territoriesand affirmed Jordan’s solidarity with and support for Syria, the ministry said.

The two ministers stressed the importance of continuing efforts to strengthen security and stability in the region.
