Prime Minister Mr. Ali Faleh Al-Zaidi receives the Speaker of the Shura Council of the Islamic Republic of Iran •••••••••• Today, Wednesday, the Prime Minister, Mr. Ali Faleh Al-Zaidi, received the Speaker of the Shura Council of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Mr. Muhammad Baqer Qalibaf, and his accompanying delegation. During the meeting, the prospects for cooperation and joint work were discussed, and ways to strengthen and enhance bilateral relations in various fields, in a way that serves the common interests of the two neighboring countries and peoples. The Prime Minister stressed the depth of relations between Iraq and Iran, and the historical, geographical and religious ties and commonalities between the two countries, praising the positions supportive of Iraq, especially the support provided by the Islamic Republic of Iran to Iraq during its war against ISIS terrorist gangs.
