A minha história e a da Déia Freitas se encontram no sonho da casa própria.
Now can I talk about my obsession? [music] I'm here, I had to talk about my obsession. My home, my life is the government program that I love the most . And I wanted to tell you a story. Today my podcast is the most listened to podcast in Brazil and the 12th most listened to in the world. Ah, when I leave office, the president will hire me to work [laughs] with you. Let's make our own podcast. And with that I earned some money and I was able to buy my first plot of land. When I bought this land, I was obsessed with having my own house, you know? I already had five employees. And then I thought, I said: "Wow, I bought a plot of land, how am I going to celebrate with my employees that I bought a plot of land, when they all live in rented accommodation?" I said, "I can't celebrate." Then my obsession turned to giving a house to each of my employees. So I went there and got it for the five employees. And then I started building my house. And building is great, isn't it? You can find a good bricklayer. And I already had some excellent bricklayers. That's when I became obsessed. I said, "How am I going to build my house if my builders don't have houses either?" Then I said, well, now I have to provide housing for my construction workers, and I only have two left. I have 13 employees today, I'm just two short. I have my house, my life. But then I'm mirrored in that program. I love this show. And what motivates me is that I want everyone to have a home. [music] First, one of the frustrations I have is that my mother died without having her little house. There. And I'm her first child to have a [music] house. So, what am I proud of? I created the most important housing program in the history of "Minha Casa, Minha Vida" (My House, My Life).
