Prime Minister Mr. Ali Faleh Al-Zaidi receives a delegation of Turkish businessmen headed by the former Turkish Deputy Prime Minister •••••••••• Today, Tuesday, the Prime Minister, Mr. Ali Faleh Al-Zaidi, received the former Turkish Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Treasury and Finance, Mr. Lutfi Alwan, and his accompanying delegation, which included a number of Turkish officials and businessmen. During the meeting, the prospects for bilateral cooperation between the two countries were discussed, especially in the economic and investment fields, and ways to strengthen the partnership, in a way that opens broader areas for joint work and encourages the contribution of Turkish companies to the implementation of strategic projects in various development sectors in Iraq. The Prime Minister stressed that Iraq is witnessing a promising development stage, calling on Turkish companies to take advantage of the available investment opportunities, especially in projects to establish and operate airports, and implement railway projects within the development road project, in addition to extending a metro line linking the provinces of Najaf and Holy Karbala, in addition to investment opportunities in the electrical energy sector, through the establishment of thermal stations, solar energy projects, dam projects and the development of the agricultural sector.
