Today, we received requests regarding "recovery and reconstruction" from Governor Kimura of Kumamoto Prefecture and members of the "Four Kyushu Economic Organizations," including the Kyushu Economic Federation.
Governor Kimura of Kumamoto Prefecture made requests for ``special financial support related to recovery and reconstruction from earthquake disasters,'' ``support for the early recovery and business continuity of local industries,'' and ``early recovery of the agricultural, forestry and fisheries infrastructure, and support for the agriculture, forestry and fisheries industries,'' in light of the repeated damage caused by repeated large-scale disasters and the severe financial situation.
The members of the "Four Kyushu Economic Organizations" made requests for "strengthening livelihood support for disaster victims," "early recovery of social infrastructure such as transportation infrastructure," "support for business continuity and reconstruction of agriculture, forestry and fisheries industries, small and medium-sized enterprises, etc.," and "promotion of recovery of the tourism industry."
At the afternoon meeting of the 11th Emergency Disaster Countermeasures Headquarters Meeting for the 2020 Kumamoto Earthquake, I conveyed the details of the requests to each minister and instructed them to take proactive measures.

本日、熊本県・木村知事と、九州経済連合会などの「九州経済４団体」の皆様から、「復旧・復興」に係るご要望を頂戴しました。 熊本県・木村知事からは、繰り返す大規模災害による重複被災と厳しい財政状況を踏まえ、「震災からの復旧・復興に係る特別な財政支援」、「地域産業等の早期復旧・事業継続への支援」、「農林水産基盤の早期復旧、農林水産業への支援」などについてご要望がありました。 「九州経済４団体」の皆様からは、「被災者生活支援の強化」、「交通インフラ等の社会基盤の早期復旧」、「農林水産業や中小企業等の事業継続・再建支援」、「観光産業の復興促進」などについてご要望がありました。 各大臣に対しては、午後の「令和８年熊本地震 第11回 非常災害対策本部会議」の場で、ご要望の内容を伝え、先手・先手で取組を進めるよう、指示しました。
