The Regional Hokimiyat reported that the discussions focused on creating regular Navoi – Delhi – Navoi cargo flights and enhancing Navoi International Airport’s role as a regional logistics hub.

A preliminary shipment of dried fruits has been dispatched to India. Initially, the cargo will be transported by seven flights weekly. As demand grows, we anticipate increasing to up to four flights daily and establishing a consistent freight flow.

Additionally, a food and logistics cluster is set to be developed at the airport cargo hub, featuring infrastructure for storing, sorting, and packaging meat and other products. To maintain product freshness and quality, an uninterrupted cold logistics chain will be implemented through specialized refrigerated transportation.

During the discussions, the focus was on attracting top Indian pharmaceutical firms to the area and initiating collaborative projects for medicine production.

The new cargo route will boost the area’s transit capacity and help develop Navoi International Airport into a leading multimodal logistics hub in the region.
