The Prime Minister strongly condemned the drone attack that targeted the private office of the Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Regional Government of Iraq and the residence of the Director of the Protection Agency (Parastin). He affirmed that these attacks constitute a threat to Iraq’s security and stability and that any threat to the security of the Kurdistan Region is a threat to Iraq’s national security. Prime Minister Al-Zaidi stressed the government’s firm rejection of any attack targeting Iraq’s territory, institutions, or citizens. He affirmed that the state will not waver in protecting Iraq’s security and sovereignty and that the competent authorities will investigate the circumstances surrounding these attacks and pursue those responsible in accordance with the law.
