U.D. Presidentja Haxhiu: Përgjegjësia për zgjidhjen është e përbashkët prandaj duhet përgjegjësi, dialog dhe një marrëveshje që i shërben interesit të përbashkët
The Acting President of the Republic of Kosovo, Albulena Haxhiu, met today the leaders of the political entities that responded to her invitation for consultations.
U.D. President Haxhiu thanked them for their participation and for their willingness to seek a solution to the political situation together.
"Attitudes are known and political differences exist. But precisely when the differences are great, dialogue becomes necessary," said U.D. President Haxhiu.
She further said that for the President we need a broader agreement than what is required for the formation of other institutions.
"We all know this and we have neither reason nor time to postpone for the last day what, in the end, we have to sit down and agree on. In the meeting, it was clearly reiterated that the country does not need new elections and that all parties have a responsibility to contribute to an agreement for a consensual President. This responsibility cannot be delegated or avoided", emphasized U.D. President Haxhiu.
According to her, refusing or boycotting meetings is not the way to an agreement.
"Disagreement is legitimate, but avoiding dialogue does not solve anything. If someone believes that there is another path, then they must clearly explain where that path leads and what solution it offers for the country", said U.D. President Haxhiu.
She further said that we cannot wait to agree before we sit down to talk. If that were the case, according to her, the dialogue would have no meaning.
"Responsibility for the solution is shared, therefore we need responsibility, dialogue and an agreement that serves the common interest", said U.D. President Haxhiu.

Ushtruesja e Detyrës së Presidentes së Republikës së Kosovës, Albulena Haxhiu ka takuar sot drejtuesit e subjekteve politike që iu përgjigjën ftesës së saj për konsultime. U.D. Presidentja Haxhiu i ka falënderuar për pjesëmarrjen dhe për gatishmërinë për të kërkuar së bashku një zgjidhje për situatën politike. “Qëndrimet janë të njohura dhe dallimet politike ekzistojnë. Ajo më tej tha se për Presidentin na duhet një marrëveshje më e gjerë se ajo që kërkohet për formimin e institucioneve të tjera. “Këtë e dimë të gjithë dhe nuk kemi as arsye, as kohë, ta shtyjmë për ditën e fundit atë për të cilën, në fund, gjithsesi duhet të ulemi dhe të merremi vesh. Në takim u ritheksua qartë se vendit nuk i duhen zgjedhje të reja dhe se të gjitha palët kanë përgjegjësi të kontribuojnë në një marrëveshje për një President konsensual. Kjo përgjegjësi nuk mund të delegohet dhe as të shmanget”, ka theksuar U.D. Presidentja Haxhiu. Sipas saj, refuzimi apo bojkoti i takimeve nuk është rrugë drejt marrëveshjes. “Mospajtimi është legjitim, por shmangia e dialogut nuk zgjidh asgjë. Nëse dikush beson se ka një rrugë tjetër, atëherë duhet ta shpjegojë qartë se ku të çon ajo rrugë dhe çfarë zgjidhjeje ofron për vendin”, ka thënë U.D. Presidentja Haxhiu. Ajo tutje ka thënë se nuk mund të presim të pajtohemi para se të ulemi të flasim. Po të ishte kështu, sipas saj, dialogu nuk do të kishte asnjë kuptim. “Përgjegjësia për zgjidhjen është e përbashkët prandaj duhet përgjegjësi, dialog dhe një marrëveshje që i shërben interesit të përbashkët”, ka thënë U.D.
