SADC Heads of State and Government lay wreaths at the statue of President Oliver Reginald Tambo.

We do this at the foot of the statue of President General Regginald Olivan National Congress who led the ANC during their years in exile and made sure that he mobilized the region which was commonly known the front of the frontline states to make sure that they support South Africa. to live in their fight for freedom and liberation. In the quest for the liberation of South Africa, the frontline states work together to make sure that other countries within the region, Namibia also get their freedom, who they got their freedom and liberation before South Africa. make sure that Angola who had their freedom and also Mozambi who had their freedom long time ago were also supported to deal away with the drast stabilizing forces that were meant to destabilize southern Africa. In this we honor the fallen heroes of the Madola massacre of the Maseru massacre of the battle of Kokale and the many contributions that were made by other countries to the freedom and liberation of South Africa but also for the region of SAD. The peace and stability we enjoy today as a region is because the men and women we are going to honor today sacrifice their lives for SAD to be free and to enjoy total liberty as we quest for the economic development and solidar continued solidarity of sardc. This symbolism of rit laying reminds us of our unity and unity of purpose. With this, I'd like to hand over to the military for the military honors. Thank you.
