The Santa Casas (charitable hospitals) are present throughout the country , providing 60% of care within the SUS (Brazilian public healthcare system). Now, those who guarantee healthcare need to have financial health to be able to provide it, to be able to cope. Health is a right, a right to life. Approval of this project, the enactment of this project will allow for a massive restructuring of debts, providing much greater breathing room so that we can even resume our investment capacity. It's a historic milestone because it fulfills a long-standing demand of the Santa Casas (charitable hospitals). This full approval guarantees an additional 2.1 billion reais in resources that we will even sign here, exchanging these debts for more surgeries, more exams, and more care for our population. We are the first major social movement in Brazil, because Santa Casas (charitable hospitals) are nothing more than society helping the country, and as long as there is health in this country, philanthropy will stand to help the Brazilian citizen. The guarantee fund has a great responsibility, firstly to protect the worker, and secondly to be an investment fund for investment in health, as is the case here. So, Mr. President, let me tell you something. This moment is unique. This government has done its homework. This is the act of life and love for one's neighbor. [applause]
