Since the day of the tragedy I gave the order to our Public Force to seize all the machinery used in illegal mining.
Today, in the village of Boraudó, Lloró, Chocó, the National Army, in a joint operation with the National Navy and inter-institutional with the Police, seized 2 ELN excavators, valued at nearly $900 million.
Instead of destroying this machinery, we will put it at the service of the reconstruction of the areas affected by the earthquake. They have already been delivered to the Government of Chocó to support these works.
The illegal mining machinery will now work for Colombia.
Crime destroys; the tiger government rebuilds.

Desde el día de la tragedia le di la orden a nuestra Fuerza Pública de incautar toda la maquinaria utilizada en la minería ilegal. Hoy, en la vereda Boraudó, Lloró, Chocó, el Ejército Nacional, en operación conjunta con la Armada Nacional e interinstitucional con la Policía, incautó 2 excavadoras del ELN, avaluadas en cerca de $900 millones. En lugar de destruir esta maquinaria, la pondremos al servicio de la reconstrucción de las zonas afectadas por el terremoto. Ya fueron entregadas a la Gobernación del Chocó para apoyar estas labores.
