Prime Minister Mr. Ali Faleh Al-Zaidi receives the Governor of the Central Bank of Iran •••••••••• Today, Monday, the Prime Minister, Mr. Ali Faleh Al-Zaidi, received the Governor of the Central Bank of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Mr. Abdel Nasser Hemmati, in the presence of Messrs. Director of the Office of the Prime Minister, Governor of the Central Bank of Iraq, and a number of advisors, in addition to the Iranian ambassador to Iraq. The meeting witnessed a review of the most prominent financial and monetary challenges facing the economies of the region, in light of the current regional circumstances, where the Prime Minister stressed that the government is working to make Iraq an arena for the interconnection of the economic and development interests of the countries of the region, in a way that ensures and supports efforts to establish stability and stop conflicts. ••••• Media Office of the Prime Minister 17-August-2026
