ETED fortalece la infraestructura de transmisión eléctrica con reemplazo de estructuras en Pimentel–Hatillo
Santo Domingo.-The Dominican Electric Transmission Company (ETED) continues to strengthen the infrastructure that supports the National Interconnected Electric System (SENI), with the execution, today, Monday, August 17, of structural replacement work due to deterioration in the 69 kV Pimentel–Hatillo transmission line.
The work will take place from 9:00 a.m. m. to 3:00 p.m. m., as part of the preventive and maintenance actions carried out by the ETED to preserve the optimal conditions of its facilities and guarantee increasingly safe, stable and reliable operation of the transmission system.
To allow the execution of these works safely, there will be a temporary interruption of the electrical service in communities in the Sánchez Ramírez province, including Cotuí, La Mata, Boca de Camú, Barrio Lindo, La Fortuna, La Cigua, El Rayo and La Cueva.
Likewise, the interruption will be partial in the communities of Pimentel and San Francisco de Macorís, belonging to the Duarte province, as well as in the companies Pastas Alimenticias and Procesadora de Foods (Prodal).
With these actions, the ETED reaffirms its commitment to strengthening and modernizing the national electrical transmission network, consolidating itself as a strategic actor for the sustainable development of the country and as an enabler of the energy and digital transition of the Dominican Republic, through an infrastructure that is increasingly secure, resilient and prepared to respond to the present and future needs of the national electrical system.
