Uzbekistan pays particular attention to developing livestock farming, deep processing of agricultural products, and expanding value-added chains in the food industry. These opportunities have created space to introduce modern technologies, process local raw materials, and support producers.
Khorezm is among the regions with strong potential for milk production. To use this potential effectively, projects are being implemented to develop specialized livestock farming and expand industrial milk processing.
Total investment in the Tillo Domor enterprise amounts to $11 million, and its production capacity allows it to produce goods worth 100 billion UZS annually. The enterprise is equipped with modern technological equipment imported from Bulgaria.
This facility produces more than 70 dairy products, including cheese, cream, sour cream, cottage cheese, and kefir. The enterprise sources raw materials daily from over 100 farms and local households. This supports a stable market for local livestock farmers.
The enterprise has created 120 jobs. It has also installed 100 kilowatts of solar panels at the production complex. Plans include creating an additional 100 jobs and expanding the product range.
Currently, around 1,200 processing enterprises operate in the region.
The President emphasized the importance of increasing production of high-value-added products through deep processing of local raw materials, ensuring a stable supply of resources to enterprises in this sector, and expanding the range and volume of production.
Responsible officials were instructed to assist entrepreneurial initiatives in this field.
