Ankara, Aug. 16 (SANA)Trabzonsporopened their Turkish Super Ligcampaign with a 1-1 draw away to Kasimpasa on Saturday, withMohamed Salahmaking his league debut as a second-half substitute.

The newly signedEgypt national team captainstarted the match on the bench before entering in the 58th minute.

Trabzonspor took the lead in the 43rd minute through Savioğlu, who fired in a first-time effort, but Kasimpasa levelled in the 55th minute when Adrian Benedyczak converted a penalty.

Salahboosted Trabzonspor’s attacking threat after coming on and came close to scoring a late winner in the 77th minute, but his effort went just wide.

Elsewhere in the opening round of the Turkish Super Lig,Galatasaraydrew 2-2 with Çorum.
