Aden, Aug. 16 (SANA)Houthi forces launched six ballistic missiles and four drones at residential areas inYemen’s centralMaribprovince on Sunday, injuring several civilians and damaging homes, vehicles and other property, Yemen’s official Saba news agency reported.The Marib governorate media office said several neighborhoods were hit, including the Al-Sharika district, where a bakery was struck and civilians were injured.The office said the attacks targeted residential neighborhoods and civilian facilities, calling on the international community and humanitarian and rights organizations to condemn the strikes and document their impact.The attacks came a day after Abdul Malik al-Sharabi, director-general of Yemen’sMokha Port, saidHouthishelling of the facility in recent days had killed seven people, including four security personnel and three port employees.Al-Sharabi said the shelling caused extensive damage to infrastructure and equipment, forcing authorities to suspend maritime and commercial operations at the port.Separately, three Houthi fighters were killed and others, including field commanders, were wounded in drone strikes by Yemeni armed forces targeting Houthi positions and vehicles on the Maqbanah front in western Taiz province, Saba reported.A military source said the strikes were carried out as part of coordination among army units. One strike targeted a Houthi vehicle on Jabal al-Zuheib, destroying it and killing several fighters, including Mohammed al-Shalabi.The source said Houthi commander Mahmoud al-Shalabi and field commander Burhan al-Abdali were among those wounded, along with several others from the Hamam al-Tuwair area.R.D/ABD
