The Syrian-Cypriot Business Council was formed under the chairmanship of Bassam Mohammad Haitham al-Jahoush, while the Syrian-Czech Business Council was formed under the chairmanship of Amer Darkal.

Both decisions stipulate that the councils are the only authorized bodies representing the Syrian side in relations with their respective counterparts, and require them to operate in accordance with the charter and procedural guide issued by the Syrian Council for Coordinating Joint Business Councils.
