Ukraine striks Russian missile unit and military supply routes
Kyiv, Aug. 16 (SANA)Ukrainian forces struck several Russian military targets overnight, including an area where a missile unit was reportedly concentrated in Crimea, Ukraine’s General Staff said Sunday.
The military said the operations also targeted a railway bridge near Svitlodolynske in the Zaporizhzhia region, allegedly used to transport Russian personnel and military supplies.
Logistics and ammunition warehouses in Karlivka, Donetsk region, were also hit, according to the statement, which said operations against Russian military targets were continuing.
Ukraine’s Navy previously reported striking a Russian Bastion coastal defence missile system in Crimea. The claims and the extent of the damage could not be independently verified.
