During the meeting, they reviewed bilateral relations between the two countries and ways to further develop their partnership across various fields. The Prime Minister affirmed that Iraq seeks to expand its economic engagement with Italy and other European Union countries and benefit from the advanced technological expertise of Italian companies across various fields, particularly in the energy, agriculture, and industrial sectors. He renewed his invitation to Italian companies to contribute to Iraq’s comprehensive development efforts.
