Damascus, Aug. 16 (SANA)Gold prices rose in theSyrian marketon Sunday, with 21-karat gold gaining 100 Syrian pounds per gram from the previous day, according to the General Authority for Precious Metals Management.

The authority’s daily bulletin put the selling price of 21-karat gold at 16,100 Syrian pounds per gram, while the buying price stood at 15,800 pounds.

The selling price of 18-karat gold was 13,800 Syrian pounds per gram, with the buying price at 13,500 pounds.On international markets,goldwas trading at $4,376 an ounce.kA.ABD
