U.D. Presidentja Haxhiu: Pa dialogim politik, veçanërisht për çështjen e Presidentit, nuk ka zgjidhje për ecje përpara
The Acting President of the Republic of Kosovo, Albulena Haxhiu, said that the February 2025 elections were the last regular elections after a full governing mandate.
"After these there were those of December 28 of the same year, and then those of June 7 of this year. Both of these elections were unnecessary and harmful, both for the citizens and for the budget of the Republic. Above all, all these elections proved a similar election result", emphasized U.D. The president.
She further said that three consecutive election processes with close results are ample evidence that without political dialogue, especially on the issue of the President, there is no solution for moving forward.
"If in the winter and spring of this year the demand and complaint was to speak in advance before each constitution of the institutions, regardless of the result, now is the moment, the opportunity and the necessity to implement this thing. Let's start not from what we can easily do, but from what is really the knot that is constantly leading us to elections: the issue of the President", emphasized U.D. President Haxhiu.
In these circumstances, she said, although it is the third step in the formal aspect, the issue of the President, in our case, is the first step from which we should start.
According to her, it is evident that without an agreement, a new election process will be opened, which will practically bring nothing new, much less a solution.
"Based on these facts and the experience of these two years, with the will to find a political consensus, I have invited the heads of all parliamentary political subjects. Allow me to express my full regret that despite my sincere invitation, political subjects such as PDK and AAK rejected the same. I consider this rejection to be a wrong, reckless action and above all a lack of will to overcome the barricading positions. Such positions do not help anyone, even less our Republic", asserted U.D. President Haxhiu.
U.D. President Haxhiu has emphasized that the citizens of the country are constantly speaking clearly through the elections, while it is our duty as their representatives and as leaders of parties and political institutions to put it into practice.
"Kosovo needs a lot of work. Elections should be the last option, if not an option at all. I remain hopeful that by Tuesday we will have a reflection and the meeting will be as useful as possible towards finding a solution", said U.D. President Haxhiu.

Ajo më tej ka thënë se tre procese të njëpasnjëshme zgjedhore me rezultat të përafërt janë dëshmi e bollshme që pa dialogim politik, veçanërisht për çështjen e Presidentit, nuk ka zgjidhje për ecje përpara. “Nëse në dimër e pranverë të këtij viti kërkesa e ankesa ishte që të flitej paraprakisht para çdo konstituimi të institucioneve, pavarësisht rezultatit, tash është momenti, mundësia dhe domosdoshmëria për ta zbatuar këtë gjë. Të nisim jo nga ajo çfarë mundemi me lehtësi ta bëjmë, por nga ajo çfarë realisht është nyja që po na çon vazhdimisht në zgjedhje: çështja e Presidentit”, ka theksuar U.D. Presidentja Haxhiu. Në këto rrethana, ka thënë ajo, ndonëse është hapi i tretë në aspektin formal, çështja e Presidentit, në rastin tonë, është hapi i parë nga duhet të nisemi. Sipas saj, është evidente që pa marrëveshje për të i çelet rrugë një procesi të ri zgjedhor, që praktikisht nuk do të sjellë asgjë të re, aq më pak zgjidhje. “Nisur nga këto fakte dhe nga përvoja e këtyre dy viteve, me vullnetin për të gjetur një konsensus politik, kam ftuar krerët e të gjitha subjekteve politike parlamentare. Më lejoni të shpreh keqardhjen time të plotë që pavarësisht ftesës sime të sinqertë, subjektet politike si PDK dhe AAK refuzuan të njëjtën. Këtë refuzim e konsideroj veprim të gabuar, të pamatur dhe mbi të gjitha mungesë të vullnetit për të tejkaluar pozicionimet barrikaduese. Të tilla pozicione nuk e ndihmojnë askënd, aq më pak Republikën tonë”, ka pohuar U.D. Presidentja Haxhiu. U.D. Presidentja Haxhiu ka theksuar se qytetarët e vendit vazhdimisht janë duke folur qartë përmes zgjedhjeve, ndërkaq është detyrë e jona si përfaqësues të tyre e si udhëheqës partish e institucionesh politike ta zbatojmë atë në praktikë. “Kosova ka nevojë për shumë punë. Zgjedhjet do të duhej të ishin opsioni i fundit nëse jo fare opsion. Mbetem me shpresën që deri të martën të kemi reflektim e takimi të jetë sa më i dobishëm drejt gjetjes së një zgjidhje”, ka thënë U.D. Presidentja Haxhiu.
