Culture and art are an unshakable pillar of our national identity. Therefore, in the new Constitution, comprehensive support of our native culture was established as a constitutional duty of the state. At the same time, President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev decided to enter the "Shamshi Kaldayakov" medal and the honorary title "Honored Artist of Kazakhstan" into the list of state awards. These prestigious awards are given to citizens who have made a significant contribution to the culture of the nation, including the development of music and visual arts.

Мәдениет пен өнер – ұлттық бірегейлігіміздің мызғымас тірегі. Сондықтан жаңа Ата заңда төл мәдениетімізді жан-жақты қолдау мемлекеттің конституциялық міндеті ретінде бекітілді. Осы ретте Президент Қасым-Жомарт Тоқаев мемлекеттік наградалар тізіміне «Шәмші Қалдаяқов» медалі мен «Қазақстанның еңбек сіңірген суретшісі» құрметті атағын енгізу туралы шешім қабылдады.
