I'm going to visit every corner of Colombia. I want to be where our people need me, walk their territories, look them in the eyes, listen to them and accompany them.
I visited Cairo, Valle del Cauca, a municipality that since 1970 had not received a visit from a President of the Republic. I have come to hug your families and tell them from the bottom of my heart that they are not alone.
I know what they have suffered and I know the pain that this tragedy has left. But I also know the strength of our people. My commitment is to govern from the territory, without distance and with facts.

Voy a recorrer cada rincón de Colombia. Quiero estar donde nuestra gente me necesite, caminar sus territorios, mirarla a los ojos, escucharla y acompañarla. Visité El Cairo, Valle del Cauca, un municipio que desde 1970 no recibía la visita de un Presidente de la República. He venido a abrazar a sus familias y a decirles de corazón que no están solas. Sé lo que han sufrido y conozco el dolor que ha dejado esta tragedia. Pero también sé de la fortaleza de nuestra gente.
