Damascus, Aug. 15 (SANA)Syriaextended its warmest congratulations to the government and people of the Republic ofSouth Koreaon the anniversary ofLiberation Day.

TheMinistry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriatessaid in a statement Saturday that Syria wished the Republic of Korea continued security and stability.

The ministry also reaffirmed Syria’s commitment to strengthening cooperation between the two countries across various fields.
