We express our deepest condolences on the news of the passing of the late Korean professional baseball legend Baek In-cheon.
In 1982, when professional baseball first began, he rewrote the history of Korean professional baseball by setting an amazing record of .401.2. This record, which has not been broken to this day, shows how outstanding a player the coach was.
Not only as a player, but also as a manager, he led juniors for a long time and contributed to the development of Korean professional baseball. The manager's passionate passion for baseball will remain in our memories for a long time.
I would like to express my respect and gratitude to the coach who has been with us since the beginning of Korean professional baseball and has brought glory to an era. I hope the deceased rests in peace.
