From Cali I speak to you with the truth, with the heart and with concrete facts. In direct coordination with the Ministry of Health and the Government of Valle, I have arranged immediate actions and background resources to support the health of the entire southwestern Colombia:
Functional Oncology Unit (HUV): Allocation of $4,386,000,000 pesos through Resolution 1080 of 2026 for the provision of this vital area at the Evaristo García University Hospital of Valle.
Hospital Reconstruction: Full financing for the recovery of the San Rafael de El Águila Hospital.
Operational Continuity: Allocating resources for the leasing of temporary medical infrastructure, guaranteeing that the HUV continues saving lives despite the effects on its bed capacity.
The University Hospital of Valle is a national symbol of improvement, efficiency and medical excellence. We're not going to drop it! From the National Government we will exert all the necessary efforts and resources to fully recover it.
Cali and Valle del Cauca have a President and a State determined to comply with them with character! May God bless this beautiful land and its people!
