Abu Dhabi, Aug15 (SANA)The UAE’s Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) said Friday that one of its vessels came under attack while transiting theStrait of Hormuz, with no injuries reported.

ADNOC stressed in a statement cited by the Emirates News Agency (WAM) the importance of protecting the safety of seafarers and ensuring freedom of navigation and maritime security.

ADNOC called on the public to rely solely on official sources for information and avoid circulating rumors or unverified reports.

On Thursday, the company said two of its vessels had also come under attack while transiting the Strait of Hormuz, adding that no injuries were reported and the situation had been brought under control.kA.MZN
