We were again in Quibdó, alongside the local authorities and, above all, with each Chocó family affected by this tragedy.
The Colombian State is not going to abandon Chocó to its fate. This emergency also imposes on us a historic opportunity and a non-negotiable commitment: to pay off a debt of decades of abandonment with this land.
I have come accompanied by ministers from my Cabinet and the First Lady to confirm that Chocó has mourners and has a Government determined to respond with actions.
With the help of God and the union of the entire country, we will put Chocó in the place of greatness and progress that it deserves.

Estuvimos nuevamente en Quibdó, al lado de las autoridades locales y, sobre todo, de cada familia chocoana afectada por esta tragedia. El Estado colombiano no va a abandonar al Chocó a su suerte. Esta emergencia también nos impone una oportunidad histórica y un compromiso innegociable: saldar una deuda de décadas de abandono con esta tierra. He venido acompañado por ministros de mi Gabinete y la Primera Dama para ratificar que el Chocó tiene dolientes y tiene un Gobierno decidido a responder con hechos.
