MOPC cerrará por dos horas el puente flotante este sábado
Santo Domingo.- The Ministry of Public Works and Communications (MOPC) reported that this Saturday, August 15, the floating bridge over the Ozama River will be closed to vehicular traffic for two hours, to allow the passage of two boats.
Closing hours will be from 10:00 in the morning to 12:00 noon.
During that period of time, the vessel M/V WATER SPIRIT 2 will be arriving at the Joseph Industrial Development Corp. SRL Shipyard, and the R/M MIDGARD HUGO at the Malaca facilities.
"This information is issued in the interest of the population in general, specifically the drivers of vehicles that normally travel across the floating bridge, to adopt local measures and if they have to do so within that period of time, to look for alternative routes, such as the Matías Ramón Mella, Juan Pablo Duarte and Juan Bosch bridges."
The MOPC apologizes for the inconvenience that said closure could cause.

El MOPC ofrecedisculpas por los inconvenientesque podría acarrear dicho cierre.
