During the conference, the Islamic Civilization Center hosted a photo exhibition highlighting New Uzbekistan’s progress and achievements.

Deputies of the Legislative Chamber and representatives of the parliaments of Belarus, Georgia, Azerbaijan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Türkiye, and Kyrgyzstan attended the event.

Guests were introduced to Uzbekistan’s pre-Islamic history, Islamic civilization, the legacy of great scientists and thinkers, the national cultural heritage, and the country’s scientific-educational potential.

The Islamic Civilization Center in Uzbekistan is one of the major strategic megaprojects implemented at the initiative of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev. The center is not only a unique architectural structure but also a symbolic bridge connecting the civilizations of the East and the West. It is intended to become a platform for the New Uzbekistan, combining scientific potential, rich cultural heritage, and advanced technologies in a single space.

Guests became familiar with the halls of the Islamic Civilization Center and the exhibitions on display. It was noted that the Center is listed in the Guinness World Records as the world’s largest museum of Islamic civilization.

The Islamic Civilization Center is a unique space where history blends organically with modern technology. Along with the rich heritage of the scientists of the First and Second Renaissance and the great ancestors of the Uzbek people, the 35-year history of independent Uzbekistan, the path of development over the years, and the large-scale reforms implemented in recent years and their practical results are presented here in a wide and vivid manner.

At the exhibition, visitors can learn about urban development projects, educational and sports facilities, industrial enterprises, and creative transformations implemented in the country. Separate exhibitions highlight Uzbekistan’s growing authority on the international stage, the expansion of its external relations, and the deepening of mutually beneficial cooperation with foreign countries and international organizations to a new level, as well as initiatives to strengthen peace, stability, and good-neighborly relations in Central Asia.
