Damascus, Aug. 14 (SANA)TheSyrian Investment AuthorityandEffect Plusfor Exhibitions and Conferences have signed a memorandum of understanding aimed at promoting investment opportunities and strengthening cooperation with the private sector.

The agreement was signed by Investment Authority Director General Ahmad Rawad Ramadan and Effect Plus CEO Basel al-Sayed, whose company organizes theEmar International Exhibitionfor the Reconstruction of Syria.

The authority said the agreement establishes a framework for strategic cooperation to promote investment opportunities, facilitate direct communication between investors and the private sector, and use exhibitions and economic platforms to develop new partnerships.

The memorandum also seeks to support economic events that connect investors with relevant stakeholders and help attract investment toSyria.

The agreement is part of the authority’s efforts to expand cooperation with the private sector and use exhibitions and business events to showcase investment opportunities and support economic growth.KA.ABD
