Tashkent, Aug. 14 (SANA)Syrian weightlifter Ali Mohammad won a gold medal at theAsian Youth Championshipsin Tashkent,Uzbekistan, after lifting 182 kg in the snatch.

Mohammad, representingSyria’s national weightlifting team, claimed the title in the over-110 kg category.

Fellow Syrian weightlifter Mohammed al-Kateb finished seventh in the 85 kg category at the same championships.kA.ABD
