Muscat, Aug. 14 (SANA)Syria’s under-20 football team drew 1-1 with Oman in a friendly as both sides continued preparations for upcoming competitions.Syria showed improvement in Thursday’s match compared with two previous friendlies against Bahrain, but struggled to convert chances and made several defensive and positioning errors.The Syrian team is holdinga training camp in Omanand will face the hosts again in a second friendly on Aug. 16.Syria previously held a training camp in Bahrain, where they lost two friendlies against the hosts by identical 1-0 scorelines.The team is preparing forthe AFC U20 Asian Cup qualifiers, where Syria will face Uzbekistan, India and Bangladesh.
