Today I had an important conversation with the military, with the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, the Chief of the General Staff, the Minister of Defense, and the commanders of the SBS and DShV. We also spoke with relevant representatives of the Security Service of Ukraine. We are taking all necessary steps to ensure that our deep strikes, our Ukrainian medium-range sanctions plan, work as effectively as possible. Today, we identified additional priorities and adjusted the tasks for August. It is important to have results. Today is another achievement of our Ukrainian defense forces . Another facility in the Russian oil refining industry has been hit. And the distance is significant, more than 2,500 km. And this is in Tabolsky, in Siberia. This region is now accessible to our deepstrikes. A very significant achievement of our Ukrainian soldiers. I thank everyone for their attention. There will be more Ukrainian strikes, which should demonstrate to Russia and Russians that peace is needed. We have data from internal surveys in Russia that the number of people who would like the war to end is already growing. This should be even more tangible. Yes. So that Putin and his administration, his FSB and everyone else in the state are aggressors. However, you understood that there was no other alternative but peace. Today I want to thank all the caring media, all the journalists, all the media, all the bloggers and podcasters of the world who show and tell the truth about what is happening in this war and how it is happening. This is the first time in Russian history that they no longer have a secure strategic rear. And this is the first time they can't fight without reinforcements from North Korea. They are now preparing to deploy an additional contingent of Koreans on their territory. We received, imagine, additional ballistics from North Korea. And everyone in the world should understand what this means. And this is not only about the lives of people in Ukraine, not only about threats to us. North Korea's ballistics are different, their weapons are being improved through collaboration with Russia. The more North Korean strikes we have here in Ukraine, in Europe , the more their missiles and soldiers are used , the more they correct their imperfections and ignorance, the greater the danger will be for Japan, for the Republic of Korea, for the Philippines, and other countries in the region. Therefore, when we talk about the need for joint actions, the need for coordination and mutual support, when we talk about the need to help us with air defense, we are also talking about actually reflecting North Korea's appetite and interest and coming here, to our land, to our sky with their weapons, to learn war. Everyone in our global world who respects human life needs to come together in taking steps to protect people. I spoke today with the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia. Our team will be in the region now. There are things that are already developing well in our relationship. I count on reciprocity in support. There will be contacts with other countries in the region, the Middle East and the Gulf. One more thing , work has been going on in Odessa all day , restoring electricity. Electricity has already been provided to most consumers , but there is still work to be done.
