The digitalization of animal husbandry and the expansion of the use of modern agricultural machinery were discussed during meetings with representatives of the Korea Association of Machinery Industry (KOAMI), Jeonbuk Technopark, and TYM.
A Smart Animal Husbandry Center is scheduled to be established in Tashkent region between 2028 and 2030.
This center oversees the deployment of AI-based monitoring systems and aims to train and enhance the skills of 300 specialists in the Republic of Korea.
A project in collaboration with TYM has started to test methane-powered tractors. 37 tractors have been delivered to the Republican Center for Agricultural Services, and their performance will be monitored for the next two years.
Considering the test results, the option to localize the manufacturing of this equipment in Uzbekistan will be evaluated.
These projects help speed up digital transformation in agriculture.
