President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan attended the Gendarmerie and Coast Guard Academy Graduation Ceremony in Ankara.

“WE REINFORCE OUR MILITARY DETERRENCE WITH OUR MULTIDIMENSIONAL DIPLOMATIC INITIATIVES”

Speaking at the ceremony, President Erdoğan stated that Türkiye is consolidating its power and marching with firm steps towards its goals during a period when the international system is grappling with crises, and said: “While some circles address developments with the codes of 30 years ago, we do what is required to be one of the dynamos of the new system and reinforce our military deterrence with our multidimensional diplomatic initiatives and strategic partnerships. We strengthen our deep-rooted institutions with competent, confident and efficient cadres. We develop our defense industry, which is envied by the world, with our own engineers and our own human resource. We are once again bringing together Türkiye, which high walls have been built between itself and its past, with its history, identity and geography.”

“Today, Türkiye is one of the countries that assume responsibility to end the conflicts both in its region and the world by peaceful means. Türkiye is one of the countries that defend the oppressed, cry out the truth without any hesitation and stand in the right side of history,” President Erdoğan added.

Underscoring that there is the blood of our martyrs and ghazis in every inch of Türkiye, President Erdoğan said: “It is first and foremost thanks to our martyrs and ghazis that the honor, dignity and  sanctity of this august country have not been stained for 1,000 years. It is our top priority to protect their legacy and carry our country to a more prosperous future by writing new epics.
