Heroes who are the first to jump into the fire and the last to leave the scene. Now it is the nation's turn to respond to the dedication of firefighters.
Korea's first fire-fighting hospital, the 'National Fire Hospital', has finally opened.
Behind the shining sacrifices of heroes, there was a dark shadow. The moment they jumped in to save another person's life left a huge scar on their bodies and minds.
Now the government will take care of those wounds. Protecting heroes is the way to protect the country and its people. We will create a country where those who rescue citizens from the most dangerous places are safely protected and treated.
