On the eve of the 29th Boat Marathon, I met with representatives of the Neretva Boatmen's Association. Over the course of almost three decades, this unique event has grown into one of the largest amateur sports events in this part of Europe, successfully connecting tradition, community and competitive spirit, and preserving the heritage and identity of the Neretva Valley. 🚣🏻
@VladaRH and @mintsRH recognize the importance of the Boat Marathon and its contribution to the promotion of Croatian cultural and sports heritage. Therefore, we will continue to provide strong support.
This year's Marathon gathers 31 teams and about 400 rowers from all over 🇭🇷. We wish all competitors a peaceful Neretva and much success in the fight for the shield of Prince Domagoj!

Uoči 29. Maratona lađa susreo sam se s predstavnicima Udruge lađara Neretve. Ova jedinstvena manifestacija tijekom gotovo tri desetljeća izrasla je u jednu od najvećih amaterskih sportskih priredbi u ovom dijelu Europe, uspješno povezujući tradiciju, zajedništvo i natjecateljski duh te čuvajući baštinu i identitet doline Neretve. 🚣🏻 @VladaRH i @mintsRH prepoznaju značaj Maratona lađa i njegov doprinos promociji hrvatske kulturne i sportske baštine. Stoga ćemo nastaviti pružati snažnu potporu. Ovogodišnji Maraton okuplja 31 ekipu i oko 400 veslača iz cijele 🇭🇷. Svim natjecateljima želimo mirnu Neretvu i puno uspjeha u borbi za štit kneza Domagoja!
