I signed four decrees today at Palácio do Planalto that place Brazil at the forefront of the energy transition and allow advances to reach citizens' pockets directly. With the free energy market, small traders, family farmers and, soon, Brazilian families will be able to choose who to buy electricity from, looking for the best price and the best option for their home or business.
We also took steps towards the economy of the future. We regulate the production of green hydrogen, the use of sustainable aviation fuel and carbon capture. Energy transition means, at the same time, taking care of the future of new generations with responsibility and respect for the environment and generating employment and income opportunities.
